Hi,
This is a bit weird, I have a 'Fix and Go' that I took with me from my old motorhome. I have tried to plug it into my Hymer cigarette lighter socket and it is too big. It is not a Hella socket and looks just like a normal 12v plug. Has anybody any experience of this? Do I need an adapter?
Thanks in advance
Rich

Can't help with the Hymer side of the question, but our Fix & Go fits the socket in our car (Merc), not actually needed to try it in the MH (Fiat base) yet.

Depends on the age of the van side of the motorhome. Fiat fitted a slightly larger cigarette socket to cope with the larger current draw of the fix and go

Nothing to do with Hymer the Fiat cigar lighter sockets in the X250 were on top tolerance of the DIN standard & the plugs on the inflate made to fit.
People were always complaining about satnav chargers not connecting in sockets because of the lose fit.

X290 are OK they are smaller and tie up with most other plugs & sockets used in cars.

I will order and fit a new plug. Than you.
