Benimar Mileo 202
I have a Benimar Mileo 202 which appears to be prewired for the fitting of a second leisure battery under the driver’s seat. Is it just a case of popping in a second battery, connecting the terminals up and that’s it?

It must be the same amperage as the standard battery and your charger may be low on charge amperage that’s not a problem it just takes longer to charge remember to connect in parallel.
It’s an easy job just like fitting solar or an inverter dealers like to make it sound hard and charge a load of money

When you say pre wired, I assume that there are spare wires under the seat which are somehow insulated at the moment.

and rememebr the pos load lead to your van goes on one battery and the neg to the other

May be an idea to check if 12v dc is there before you connect, may have bare cables at the other end..

They are connected in parallel but it should be Earth (negative) from van to negative on one battery and the the live from the van to the other battery. Like below.

By the way - is your present battery under the driver seat too? I couldn't fit 2 batteries under my seat. Had to put the 2nd under a different seat behind the driver.

Join the Benimar group on Facebook, they have the details on there. The wiring for the 2nd battery is already there.
