A16 or the D940. I always use the A16 to Boulogne then follow the D940. The A16 is tolled just after Boulogne.
I will be inFort Mahon a week on Thursday.

Out of Calais follow motorway to Boulogne.. First trip you may want to pay the toll on the A16 while you are getting used to it all, think about €10 ish and will avoid going into Boulogne. Otherwsie follow the main rd for toll free.
Google maps is always worth looking at if you are visiting anywhere first time.
The aire at Le Croytoy is pretty big and busy. Ok for a visit if you have never been but to be honest dont let it put you off as they are many other smaller and nicer places to stop..

safe trip.

program destination into google maps or whatever you are using as a navigation device and off you go - no science to it.

I do as andyman and often overnight at the aire in Montreuil but it's probably easier for you to stay on the A16, toll is about a tenner. Two main aires in Crotoy, town or beach, town is usually rammed beach is normally quieter. I'll be there myself a week on Wednesday.

How long are you staying in Le Crotoy ?. For one night the Aire by the port is good or staying longer and prefer a campsite we recommend Camping Les Auberpines about 5 mins out of Le Crotoy.
