We arrived in Spain last Friday for our first ever visit :D after a big decision on Spain or Portugal there's s separate post on that subject Spain won and we arrived at teatime at El Campello camper area.
Well today we left the camper park at
El Campello after a great week there ! Wasn't sure if we should of gone further south or not but decided to stick to our plan of heading slowly north.
We enjoyed El Campello it is kept beautifully clean can't fault it at all !
It has a beautiful beach a short 5mins walk away. We visited Alicante on the tram and even braved ourselves to take the tram into Benidorm nothing like we remember  when we last visited 30 years ago. We did have some super Tapas though in the old part of Benidorm with the Spanish was really good.
Also had a couple of day R&R
Which was lovely and needed.
We also enjoyed the company of
@Coolbeanz & @DoubleD
Along with William and his wife also earlier in the week @DBK was there
(err perhaps you should of stayed @DBK )
We haven't moved very far as we are now @ Calpe on the Mediterraneo
Camper Area
So we're looking forward to exploring this part of the coast now and getting some bike riding in.
Any suggestions as to where what and how on things to see and do are always welcome (y)

It could have been worse, might have fallen off the Penyal d'Ifach!

But have a good trip - nice to have met you both.

Oh no that doesn't bare thinking about :(
Nice to of met you both as well and we hope the rest of your trip is uneventful !

Follow the coast road to the left of the Rock up to Cap Blanc and then cycle inland to Benissa, awesome views but a long slow climb!! Over an hour to get there but 10 minutes to get back . Glad you enjoyed El Campello, we look forward to meeting up again. (y)

Moved on again today to KM Zero Camper Park @ l'Alqueria just north of Oliva.
Nice camperstop only €8 a night without electric! :)
Some fab cycling along a proper cycle route.
Missed the triathlon today @ Oliva got there as it was finishing:(
Think Glynn said @Coolbeanz either you've been or are coming but if your coming it is now shut as of tomorrow 1st June untill September mad isn't it but we're locked in with the keys to let ourselves out tomorrow!
Oliva beach was really nice @DoubleD but it was a bike ride away :(
So where to go tomorrow?
Better get books out and Camperstop App
