I would like to remove a now superfluous TV aerial from the roof of the MH and a cycle rack from the back, both of which will leave bolt/cable holes in the bodywork.
What do you guys use to,fill these holes with. I'm not too worried about aesthetics but they need to be long lasting and waterproof repairs.
All advice gratefully received, and thanks in advance.

Saniclad or chequer plate ally sheet bonded with Sikaflex?

Just remove the cycle rack and leave the fittings attached to the rear wall.

When I say I'm not too worried about aesthetics, I didn't mean not worried enough to put up with chequer plate on my shiny grp. And I'm talking about small holes, max penny size, not bucket size ;):xdoh:

I do like the idea of leaving the fittings attached though

If it's a Status Aerial You can buy a blanking Plate from ebay for around £10.

A blanking plate would be ideal, I'll have a look at the make tomorrow :xThumb:

How about blanking plates that you get from plumbers merchants. For tap holes in sinks/baths nice chrome finish £1.50 each attach with silicone.

Removed my bike rack and swapped the brackets from inside, onto the outside.

When I took the rear box off our old Swift I used the original bolts and strengthening plates from the box and bolted them through the holes after applying a generous helping of Sikaflex. I sprayed the plates and bolt heads the same colour as the rear wall. You couldn’t see there was anything there if you were a few feet away.

You could silicone small bike reflectors over the holes on the rear and any non ferrous plate over the hole in the roof.

Don’t use silicone on bodywork. That isn’t the best product.

I also believe that a blank is available for status aerials that have been removed.

Fortunately it happens to be a Status aerial so blanking plate ordered so thanks all for that suggestion.
Just the cycle rack holes to deal with now.
