has anyone else got a problem. When I open the app it’s linking me to a fiat advertising page asking me to log in but won’t let me
So I cant see any recalls or use anything like parking , profile etc

Sorry, but what is a Fiat Ducato motorhome app?
Is it only for newer motors, not my old 2006 plodder, which certainly won’t be having any recalls I guess.
I would like to get hold of a Workshop Manual (not owners manual) for my X244 2.8jtd,so could I get it with this app?
Thanks for any advice.

It was an app for phones call Fiat Camper Assist. You could enter your vin then it would let you know if there were any recalls it also had data bases of Fiat Professional Dealers, camp sites, etc.

I have just tried to get it. Scanned the QR code and got nowhere. Searched it in Google and got directed to a site that my anti-virus did not like at all. Think I will stick to phoning them if I need them.

Many thanks for that, I will stop looking.
It may help if they took it out of the owner's manual I was given today with the new MH.

Just checked and the Fiat website tells me that for my 2019 model "campaigns are in progress" but doesn't tell me why or what for. As I have not been notified of anything by Fiat I have to assume it's nothing serious.

There's a phrase around making assumptions :xsmile:, I'd give Fiat a call to check it out, which is what I'm doing right now about the campaigns are in progress against out VIN!

You're absolutely right Mick, perhaps you could post what they say ?

So I checked mine and it said it had recall campaigns too. Just called my local Fiat garage and they checked and there is nothing on mine, there are on some vehicles but not mine so seems like its a catch all.

Having just acquired a new to me van I thought I would check on Fiat's website and I got the same result. Phoned our nearest Fiat Professional and they checked for me and said it needed an inspection and based on that maybe some clips fitted (brake related). While at it they will also do a visual inspection of the braking system. Whole job less than an hour. Booked in for January.

So I would just call your local fiat professional garage to check and book in if necessary.

Just spoken to local Fiat Pro dealer and recall is also for the brake issue. Booked in. As above, I'd suggest you contact Fiat.

I haven't received the official Fiat letter about the brake line clip recall. When I book the next service I will ask the Fiat Professional workshop to check if mine is included in the recall.

Having had 2 previous recalls and the hassle of taking the 2017 X290 back to the Fiat workshop again, waiting for parts etc, this time I'm assuming the brake clip issue is at the lower end of the safety scare scale especially considering the low mileage. Hopefully only an inspection is required.

Cheap shoddy components, designed to make the assembly line go faster? :xsad:
