I know I know all about the 25% ex pat population but the camping mon village site is great , the village unspoilt and one of the prettiest so far and the restaurants are great - try the maison d’Armour for lunch - superb

Probably not a “genuine” French village anymore but I’d come back

It's probably 20 plus years ago now but my parents used that site when it was a municipal.
They used it as a base to look for property in the area, they had a Autosleeper campervan pulling a Bailey Senator caravan. Eventually they found what they were looking for a bit further south.
When they moved into the house they sold the caravan but kept the campervan and would have the occasional weekend away in Eymet.

Yep it is , it’s fine - very shady thank goodness
