Experienced Funster advice required

STILL awaiting delivery of our Burstner Nexxo Motorhome which we have paid a deposit for.

However an amazing Hymer BMC T600 (18months old) has come to our attention and we are now weighing up the pros and cons of it.

Its a slightly bigger van but has the upgraded chassis but same layout. We both have C1 licences so we can drive it!

Its a fair bit more than the brand new Nexxo but we thought that “hopefully” any snagging would have been addressed.

I think I recall reading an article on here about buying your 3rd van first! I think that’s what this one would be?!

Any thoughts?

No help to you but it's what I would always be afraid of with these stupidly long waits for new vans, I know I would change my mind before it was delivered.

Don’t lose anything, the deposit would just be transferred to the Hymer.

I have been tempted by available vans. However I would be buying a van at currently inflated prices whereas my order is price protected and currently 12k cheaper than the current new price. I have seen my van second hand at more than I am paying for my new one and lower spec. But I ain't got it yet! Happy to wait and just gave some money to Cunard to entertain me in the meantime.

Probably the right choice as the Hymer will hold its value better.
On our 3rd Hymer they are OK for a mid range van but not impressed with the quality these days, wouldn't buy another one.
