Episode 34 of The Camping Crew Podcast is available now

Just listened to the podcast and really enjoyed it.. But after listening one might come to the conclusion there must be a lot more disposable income in Eire ?
Which is not really true :-)
To say a charge of 25 to 30 € is not expensive is quite revealing !
175 € a week just on site fees would cripple any other activities for a lot of people.. Fine for the odd day here and there but for any longer...

Having toured Ireland we found some beautiful sites all over the place priced at around 15 €
In N.I. things were even cheaper !

Thanks for the message Jaws. We really appreciate your feedback. This is a debate that could go on and on and lots of people have very different opinion on the topic of campsite pricing in Ireland. We’ll give your message a read on the next recording and we’ll chat about it further.

Likewise listened to your podcast today - great use of my time while sitting in a 9 mile queue on the M-8(motorway).

I look forward to your future episodes as well as working my way through your back catalogue. ?

p.s. Jim - the forum software doesn’t allow you to type in “M” followed by “8” - it turns it into “mate”!

Thats because M 8 is shorthand text speak which was the subject of much consternation a while back, so some of the more common text speak automatically gets turned into the proper word... simply putting a space in will allow you to mention the M 8 road though :-)
