Started van today Fiat Ducati 2016 serviced last week and engine management light won’t go out. Had to use van and behaving perfectly. Is there a secret to try and put it out.

There are so many reasons the light is on, without a OBD reading you will not know. A cheap obd reader is worth purchasing.

Mine came on last week the night before it’s MOT, I was advised to start and stop it 5 times and it would clear, it worked for me and I have had it checked since just to be safe.

Normally if the minor fault does not reoccur after six restarts the light will go out.

I had the same on my 2019 ducato last week. 5 starts later the light went out and has stayed off. Going into the garage next week to check but think it's an over sensitive oil level sensor when stopped on a slope.....must buy an OBD reader.....

Thanks for your input. Tried the 5 start & Stop no joy. have an OBD reader and although it lit up on connection it showed no fault ! Started up Sunday to get van off ramps it was still on. 10 minutes later on starting to go home it went off !!! Gremlins.

It's so frustrating 😫
It is a well recognised auto-immune medical condition known as Ducatitis which if not treated leads to a more serious condition of nervous exhaustion!
