Today I’ve replaced both external grey and fresh electric dump valves with stainless ball valves,having replaced one valve that stopped working,the other decided to start playing up, yes they have a manual override but they are just a gimmick,last valve bought direct from seargent was £69 they now Want £77 mh dealers Want £115 yes there are cheaper versions made in far and distant lands made of chinesium, but ive put lever action ball valves with stainless steel bodies and internals,simple and fail safe.
