Ducato X230 (1999) Scuttle

Hi, I have read lots of info and woes regarding the X250 windscreen scuttle.... Does the same apply to the X230?
I seem to hve no drain drivers side (right hand drive) and a grill that leads to a plastic collector that then vents not very much lower down approximately over the gearbox?

Ducato - 5th gear popping out

Don't be afraid to hang on to 4th until 50+ mph, the engine is tough and won't break because of this. Your eardrums might though ;-) And that's exactly how I use our 4th and 5th gears. It just doesn't feel right, changing up to 5th at anything lower than 50Mph (80Kph), even if it isn't...

1999 Fiat Ducato Gearbox Problem - Fixed

I have a 1999 Murvi Morello based on the Fiat Ducato 2.8. After the engine got hot the gears were crunching, particularly the 3rd, 4th and 5th changes. Changing was also generally very stiff and the gears were not disengaging quickly. I thought that it was going to mean a new gear box...
