I can't find info in the ferryport info. There is car parking, but it doesnt say if it includes motorhomes

Don't know about actually at the ferry port but we stayed just 20 mins down the road at the harbour in Dun Laoghaire. Looking at search for sites there are lots of free options around in and around Dublin.
On park4 night too.

In 2015 we was meant to be visiting friends in Dublin and decided to check the port out so we knew exactly where to go the following morning, not the best decision because they had a football match on and all the roads were closed. 🙄

We finally got in the port, and time was getting on so asked if we could just pull over one side and sort our dinner out, he said when's your crossing I think was 09.00 he said pull in line ready for the morning. 👍

That was great at the time, thinking we will see them in Spain, but unfortunately he died of a heart attack at a wedding, she sold the Hymer and got a panel van so we still met up with Ann in Spain. 🙂 Bob.

Update
I sm staying in the port, about 50 yards from the check in lanes. Parking is 2 euro per hour, or 9 euro for 24 hours, paid online.
Bus into city every hour through the day.
Toilets in the terminal building.
Feels very safe. Interesting watching the ships come and go.
A bit noisy, but I don't think it will keep me awake.

Much cheaper than a site, especially if you have an early crossing, and with easy access to town.
All good so far.
Hope that helps.

I always sit back about 20 mins from the port at the Snail box restaurant. Great food and great landlord with 7000+ baseball caps pinned to the ceiling with a great story behind them
