Dry sunny and warmer than yesterday.

But force 4 eastly winds on the coast. Tuesday was good no wind finally started to get to grips with my Paddleboard I think it will be too windy today for my level.

The wind is calmed through all the towns and cities before it reaches us but with just a tee shirt today it does have a nip to it but not a cloud to be seen. Possibly not a paddleboard day on the coast.

I went paddle boarding Monday on the river Hamble, forecast was good very light wind , but upon arrival there was a stiff breeze, with a chill, a couple told us they struggled going south fortunately it dropped off , so the return was warmer, especially for my son who fell in for no reason without a wetsuit..First time he has fallen in after 4 years of doing it.Brr.

Looking at the posts by Paddleboarder and grasscutter the weather at Wittering was better.

In spite of the sunny weather a chill ENE wind off the sea has been with us here for some time now , quite a chilly springtime.

Blow that!!! (see what I did there)

Currently at Gwithian in Kernow where the wind is Force 8 with no calming down for the next three days.
The quest pop up is holding firm although I did have to go out at stupid o'clock to put a peg back in.
The frustrating bit is that there isn't a cloud in the sky.
If there was, it would be across the sky in seconds.

Will it fit in your bath ...? :giggle:

IMV not sensible to go out without some form of protective clothing for if you fall in as you can quickly be overcome by the cold even with a buoyancy aid on.

Have you got a licence for using the rivers?

It's sunny and calm here but a chilly 4 degrees when I walked the dog this morning.

It's gone up to a positively balmy 9 degrees now 😁

Still 4 degrees in mid Wales. Bright blue sky and not a cloud in the sky but bloody chilly

Nice 11 deg here and wind only about force 3 low tide at 2:15 so may take the Paddleboard down the beach about 1:00.

Fortunately the River Hamble and River Stour , Christchurch do not require licences, definitely wetsuit next time

You are getting too cheeky when we meet I'll have to put you over my knees (if they will take the strain).
You're gonna have to catch me first 'humpty'!

A bit of chop out on the water today
The paddle boards can stay dry today.
Unfortunately windy on the coast for a few days now.
Will have to travel inland to the rivers and canals if the need arises 👍

Chilly breeze here at Calshot, it’s been like this for the last week.
Back at our New Forest pitch it’s been totally different, legs tanning up lovely.
We have had the heating on late evenings and first thing in the mornings, good job we have plenty of battery power. TV does’nt seem to make much difference to the battery state.

Blasted hayfever really bad today, had to attack it with the heavy guns today and still it’s barely under control. Really hoped I’d grow out of it by now!! Tree pollens so that bodes well for the New Forest on Saturday...

Had a meeting in Frimley today and lucky enough I had a jacket in the car as it seemed warm leaving home but with the wind was nippy in Frimley☹️
Just looked at next week and it don’t look to good, temperature dropping and rain coming in bit of a pain as we are off to the Longleat site.
