Hey All. I was getting the van ready to go out a couple of weekends ago, dropped the over dining area bed down and it wouldn’t go back up.

I’ve narrowed it down to a failed actuator on the passenger side. The other side works fine.

The make and model is a Ciar LM20 01 12v 4a. It doesn’t appear to be made anymore?

The van is 2013 Adria Matrix M680SP.

I presume there must be other actuators that fit, but I’ve no idea what to look for.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

Any good ?

I saw that - it’s an LM20 03 version (not 01) - I don’t know if that significant? I have actually emailed Ciar to ask.

Would you mind posting some photos of it and its key components please? I'm guessing other actuators might work but I could be on a wild goose chase, without knowing what way your bed works.

Hi, had exactly the same problem with my actuator, I found if I wound it back past the maximum limit switch it would work so I adjusted the grub screw to its maximum and stop it manually as it reaches the bed support. I have got a replacement motor ( https://www.liftchairparts.eu/attuatore-ciar-lm20-2000n-cod-n500092320-corsa-125-e-chiusura-350.html ) but if your actuator has more that just power (extra wires out of the top) I’m not sure it will work as I believe the motors are connected. I’m still experimenting with the new one.
