Morning everybody,

I’m currently replacing my reverse camera so am fitting a new screen in place of the clip on rear view mirror. I’ve now got a 4 channel DVR for front, rear and both sides.

I can’t seem to find where the grommet goes to in the door shut, it just seems to be a big cavern behind there with the current wires going UP but to where?
Anyone got any ideas where it goes to please? I can’t be the first person to try this but can’t find anything.

Can’t give specific advice but I used a grommet on the passenger side to feed a camera cable. But it wasn’t in the wheel arch it was next to the chassis rails and feed up just behind the seat. I would be very interested to know what kit you have fitted, that monitor installation looks very tidy . I haven't found a suitable DVR online so wondered what you found.

Thanks Mark, I’ve found one under the van already for the rear camera. I might have to borrow one of those probe cameras off someone to investigate the door jamb further, or relocate them above the doors.

It took me ages to find a decent looking screen with DVR and proper cameras. I bought the screen alone and chose the cameras individually for the best fit. Once fully setup I will have the screen on rear camera full bottom then left and right cameras split 50/50 on the top, the front will record in the background.
