Has anyone managed to find bin bags which fit to the bins integrated into the main habitation door on most vans place.The bin measures 400mm high by 260 wide but I haven’t a clue how many litres this equates to and most bags on eBay are sold in litres ie 50 etc.Thank you.

Multiply the length by the width by the height. That gives the number of cubic millimetres. To calculate the number of litres, you then divide that number by a million.

Kai.

Easy when you know how😀😀

Google was my friend 😉

With the metric system all you need to know is;
1 cubic meter contains 1,000 Liters (1m X 1m X 1m)
1 liter of water weighs 1 kg (Therefore 1,000 liters weighs 1,000 kg which is one tonne)

Everything else is a variation of it.

So for example: What does a cubic meter of bricks weigh ?
Do they float ?
No.
So it's more than one tonne (1,000 KG)

We get a regular supply through the letterbox. They have printing on them about used clothing etc. Claiming to be for one charity or another. They can usually be made to fit. Has to be better than just putting them in the bin. I wonder why they are allowed to do this when there is such a crack-down on plastics. You cannot have have a bag for products you buy in a shop but these are pushed through every door, wanted or not and worse still they come sealed ........ in a plastic bag. Does this make sense? :rolleyes:

If you look on ebay or Amazon most of the ads will give you the dimensions of the bags too.

We use 50 litre swing bin liners from Aldi. A little on the large side but the rubbish stays in the bag when emptying rhe bin.
