Don’t you just love a switch....

We have recently changed our Motorhome to a Burstner A Class. We absolutely love it....

One of the biggest pleasures has been the ability to use switches to control the lighting and other items of equipment

Our previous Motorhome was very comfortable etc, but Swift in their wisdom used Swift Command - their smartphone App. So in order to operate the external light you had to make sure your phone was on, paired via Bluetooth with the control panel and then you could turn the light on or off. Same with dimming of the lighting in the living area or the bedroom area.....Same for the water pump..... What a faff......

I love a switch....

What happened if yu had a proper phone that only makes calls?
Can't you buy a swift?

That's daft - why the hell would you want to use Bluetooth to turn the water pump on and off, or the lights - a gadget for gadget's sake.

I bought a dishwasher recently , it has wifi. Apparently it can send you messages via an app if it's running low on salt or rinse aid. It has a display that does this as well. It looks so useful that I haven't bothered setting it up!

What’s an app to switch the lights on that is what you were given fingers for

you can complain when, ALL the lights are done by app. and the flush and the fridge. Then the phone goes off because you didn't charge it with the app controlled socket.
