Dometic RMD 8505 fridge not working on 240v (1 Viewer)

Hi All, My 2018 fridge works great on gas and 12v but not on EHU. I've tried it set on Auto and on 220v. I removed the vent and there's 240v arriving at the back of the fridge, all other mains sockets, etc. also work. Any ideas please?

Do you have a clamp on ammeter? Is sounds like the 220v heater element might have failed.
To test this turn it onto 220v and measure the current on the cable feeding the heater in the back of the fridge.

We had the same issue. Replaced the 240V heating element. No dice. Turned out that the main PCB was faulty. Managed to get another before Dometic discontinued the model. Sent the old one to a guy in Cumbria for repair, via an eBay link. Brilliant job done incl postage for approx £50.
