Removal of the old Rooflight was straightforward, take down the blind cassette and remove 12 screws. Drop inner frame out then up to the roof top remove top frame. I prised up one side of this and used a plastic dowel to keep it apart until the mastic gave up.

Cleaned all traces of mastic from the roof using a Stanley knife and white spirit. Decided to use old inner frame to save trimming new frame.

Prepped new upper frame using 19 and 32 mm mastic strip. Dropped it into the roof and secured inner frame with 12 original screws. After 10minutes tightened screws again after mastic has flowed.

Fitted new cassette, job done. The new Rooflight is a none ventilated one, not like the old one.
