I have just sold my 09 fiat based van. Twice on holidays over the last few years we have had the diesel fuel filter leak. It was fixed each time by refitting using the blueprint tool.

I now have a new 2016 Bailey with the Peugeot 2.2 engine, does anyone know if I still need to keep the blueprint tool handy or did Peugeot fix it?

I hope someone knows.

I am not 100% sure.
But presume its all the same now with a new metal filter.

What is the blueprint tool, please? We have a Bailey (2012) based on Peugeot boxer van. Looks like I may need to get one.
Thanks

Put this on eBay,

Laser tools Peugeot Fiat fuel filter removal tool.

2016 should be an X290 chassis and no you don't need the tool as the filter is now a metal unit.

from 2015 they swapped to a metal cannister fuel filter. the plastic ones that tend to leak use these tools

I'm sure the 2.2 engine is the Ford engine not the same as the Fiat, if it has a chain rather than a cam belt definitely a Ford.

I have one of those tools that I no longer need if anyone interested

Yes but the earlier 2.2 also used the UFI plastic filter
