Just wondering?? Less punters for a LHD over here so does this reduce price or is the LHD a niche market so value not really effected or possibly inflated as people will pay if it's what they want with limited supply?

Might be different for other vans but for ours it makes no difference price wise, but I think right hand drive would have been a longer lead time even if the same price.

Buying new it should be less, buying secondhand no difference especially with an A Class.

Sorry, was thinking more used vehicle than new.

If buying off a dealer secondhand, you'll be expected pay top price. If part exchanging a LHD through a dealer, expect to be offered a massively reduced trade-in............on the premise that LHD models are worth less. It is absolute rubbish, so don't get conned. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

It did cross my mind that that would be the probable scenario 🤨

My last motorhome was a LHD 2012 680 Starline. It was 5yrs old and having been owned by me for 4yrs, I was looking to part-ex it for a smaller Hymer.

I first approached my nearest dealer - Highbridge. They were not interested at all because it was LHD and refused to quote against a new van that was in stock. They were very pleasant but just not interested and were concerned that they may not be able to shift it.

That same week I went to Travelworld and part-exed it for the van in my avatar. They were very comfortable taking a LHD and regularly had such vans in stock. It was only advertised for a week before it was sold.

OK sorry, used you will pay what the market will stand so if nobody wants LHD they would be be cheaper but I am sure that won’t be/isn’t the case so no difference really.
