I realise that running dehumidifiers is controversial but I do run one in my van when it's not being used. I gain a fringe benefit from it by pouring the distilled water into the grey tank which flushes it out nicely (it sits on our drive with the drain tap open).

Uses a lot of electricity for something that serves no purpose. As your motorhome has fixed ventilation, for safety, you are trying to dehumidify the whole world.
