DAB Aerial

I would steer clear of window stick on ones.

Think I paid around £20 or so mine.
Can’t remember the make though 🙄

My window one worked well... once I'd sanded some paint off the framing around the window to expose the metal and stuck the pad back down.

All the research I did before buying said don’t get a window one 🤷‍♂️

So I didn’t 😊

I recommend the Eightwood roof mount one.

Amazon product ASIN B072J3JYQW
There are several versions depending on the aerial sockets the head unit has. Check whether it needs SMA/SMB etc. Only gripe with it is that you need to tape it up into a loom, but I guess some people might want the cables heading off in different directions. Reception is excellent. I was so impressed by the reception (better than the VW factory fit on another car) on the motorhome, I bought one for an old Polo I was upgrading as well. Also, the instructions don't explain the mounting very well. There is a choice of circular and square hole mounting, but it comes assembled with both mounts in place.

P.S. It seems it now comes with an adapter, so the same model does SMA and SMB these days.

Window sticker one from Halfrauds - used on two vehicles very well. BUT you must have a good earth contact for the little magnet part.

As soon as you use a glass mount one you are admitting defeat !
I have been using the magnetic Halfrauds one for a couple of years now.. Just slapped it on the rear of the bonnet ( Fiat X250 C class ) and run the cable under the back edge of the bonnet, through firewall and up to the radio

The JVC HAL4 external screen mount aerial works well. It's a whip aerial that fixes to the outside of the screen with an induction receiver that fits on the inside. I fitted one to the top of the screen on a friends A Class he says reception is really. good.
