Does anyone know where i can get the cruise control fixed on a Hobby Motor Home in the Manchester area, i have run out of options with Renault Manchester they tell me it is to long to go on there ramp, and Renault commercial in Salford say they dont have the diagnostics for the base unit ( Master ).

It needs a factory reset for the computer as the previous owners had it chipped and knocked out the cruise control so it needs re-flashing back to factory, Lord only knows why they need to put it on a ramp ???.

Any help would be good.

what about vauxhall ?? the movano is basically a renault

Vauxhall has a different set of cam bus instructions so it will not work with a Renault, and a remapping company can not fix it i have tried.

something at the main dealer stops them from just looking for the problem they said should they need to replace a sensor they would have to get it up in the air and the roof trusses will not let them get it up due to the length of the MH. I know its stupid but they stonewall me every time i approach them.

can you send the MH back to factory settings ?

I can find out for you, do you know who did the remap? And are you sure that the cruise control has been turned off by it? Not sure why that would of been done but things that get turned off are usually things that are coursing a problem!

It has been into an Indi and they tell me they cant fix it, they tried for 3 hours and said who ever did the remap cocked it up and it needs a factory reset, so that is as much as i can tell you.
