We are heading to France next Wednesday and are looking at travelling along the west coast down to San Sebastian over 4 weeks. I have ordered our Crit Air sticker and received confirmation I have paid it and its in the post (5-7 working days) However my wife's best friend was diagnosed with cancer yesterday and we want to go down to them in Suffolk, in order to stay and support her and hubby for a few days before we head to Folkestone. (She wont let us postpone as she has an operation and treatment to beat it over the coming months)
As we haven't been over before I look at the official site of the zones (1st pic) then on google images there are mixed messages re zones (2nd pic) showing a vastly different picture, putting a fair bit of the west coast within the zones.
My questions are 1) Is that a true reflection of the zones down the North/West Coast compared to the official site?
2) If it is .... and we head down to our friends before the sticker arrives, then go over with the printed receipt of payment and a copy of the category 2 they have allocated (pic 3) in the windscreen does anyone have any knowledge would this suffice?

Have a look at the 'green zones' app, lots of helpful information. It shows all the areas with potential and current restrictions. Apart from a couple of cities, noteably Paris, Reims and Lyon the rest are areas which can bring in restrictions just while weather conditions are exceptional and pollution is high so will apply very rarely.

Thanks so much that has reassured me just to crack on. 👍
