We all like to moan, but tend to forget to broadcast our thoughts when things go right.

I sought advice from Leisure Spares Ltd about what I needed to rectify my two Thetford cassettes that wept a bit when full and were being carried. As a result I placed an order for parts, probably early yesterday afternoon. To have them arrive this morning is nothing short of excellent. They give an exemplary service, so different from businesses that hide behind Covid to justify poor service.

I have no relationship with them, apart from letting them have my credit card details, and I would encourage people to give them a try.

And I wish them success.

Cheers everybody,

Peter

Yes i have had the same great service. Ordered two parts for my pump. Both came both wrong my fault. Returned them money returned and correct one on order.

Thanks, I'll find that vid. Yes, I am changing the blade, and the lip seal.

Not motorhome related but definitely good service.

Did I tell you about the shed I built in Lockdown last year?

Bought a Tacwise nail gun through Amazon which was used for cladding outside and in, towards the end of the job it started tripping the mains supply but I finished the last couple of sheets of ply eventually and thought no more about it. A couple of weeks ago, 13 months after purchase, I used it again on an old shed I rebuilt, it started tripping again after a few nails and continued to trip when tried in the house and then failed to work at all. I was told it draws 40 amps on firing and could be the shed supply not up to it but whatever, Tacwise offered to replace it and send me some nails in lieu of posting and the inconvenience.

Mine was the 400ELS that I paid £90 for, the replacement is the Duo 50 Stapler and Nailer, which is £132 at Toolstation but £180 most places.

Only snag is the Duo is a straight nailer whereas mine was angled and they didn't send any nails so I have to go buy some. Service is not what it was! :shake:
