Swift Esprit 496

I have a swift esprit 496 with an overcab panoramic roof. A crack has appeared near one of the locking catches which I suspect has been caused by someone not unlocking the catch properly before opening it. It's on the inside so is not leaking, but I'm concerned it might get worse when travelling.Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to repair this or where I might get it repaired in the north west?
Thanks

Assume it's plastic...drill a hole at the end of the crack (s) that you want to stop spreading
Thanks I'll give that a go. I think it's probably acrylic do you think araldite clear would strengthen the cracks being as they're around the locking catch?

Wont do any harm..but probably not much good either..can't see clearly the scale but maybe drill holes spaced along cracks and v out carefully ,fill with resin (having removed catch mounting plate ) then refit catch on a plate big enough to cover( and strengthen) damaged area again using a resin based adhesive..I would avoid pop rivets or any other mechanical fixing that may stress the plastic

Have you stuck a patch over it or has someone else attempted a repair? Might just be a reflection on photo

As mentioned above the first thing to do is drill a small (3mm) hole at the ends of each crack to stop them growing. If it is acrylic, a small amount of acetone (nail polish remover) might help strengthen the crack however I would suggest buying some acrylic cement and bonding on a thin patch of clear acrylic over the cracked area (assuming that the lock fittings have enough adjustment to be able to accomodate it).

I stuck gorilla clear tape over it temporarily. Have now drilled holes and am waiting for a thin acrylic sheet to be delivered. Also found something called WC-102 crack repair so have ordered some to try. Does anyone have any experience of this please?
Thanks for the advice everyone 👍 I'll let you know how it goes when everything arrives
