Collision with a branch protruding onto the carriageway

Come on folks we can do better than this, I feel sorry for the OP he reached out with a genuine concern asking for advice and yes some of us offered some constructive advice, but some of the comments on this thread are just sarcastic comments and even borderline abuse, I’ve always found funsters to be extremely helpful but in this instance I think the op has been let down, just my opinion and overall still a great community out there

So much chat in this thread about roadside hedges ....it's almost as if no one bothers to read the initial post. The OP said he was hit in the inside lane of a dual carriageway. Thats a totally different scenario to single carriageway roads.

You dont have traffic regularly driving into trees and bushes on dual carriageways, at dual carriageway speeds. And if they did, to argue its the drivers fault, is bizarre

Wasn't there a film a few years back regarding storm damage being a Act of God? I'm guessing you might just have to take one on the chin and just get it repaired. It could be a long drawn out jobby I'm sure ;)(y)
I dont believe in God, in any case there are about 3000 to choose from, so yes it could take a long time to select the right culprit!
