Just heard from Le Shuttle that the UK are banning imported cheese. Milk, beef etc. ...

So, what happens to the small amount that most of us bring back from our trips to Spain., France etc...even in our cheese and ham sandwiches.?!!! do we get compensation....or do Customs stock their fridges with them ?

Why would you bring that crap back, when we’ve got cheddar, Wensleydale Red Leicester and even Blackpool (Lancashire) cheese, far better than that foreign muck

Not euro tunnel but the meat /dairy ban has been in place for a while now, we were asked if we had any and because we said yes we're not prosecuted just had it all confiscated. It went in a yellow bin liner for destruction. There is foot and mouth in europe.
