Central locking

Hi everyone, at the moment we are away in Wiltshire.
We have a problem with our Central locking. The habitation door will not lock on the remote, I have to lock manually by inserting the key. Cab locks are fine they work every time. It's a Fiat Ducato cab. I've tried to reset it in the vehicle program on the dash but no joy. Any advice would be most welcome.

How long since the hab door stopped responding to the central locking? Did you have any work done recently?

Has it got the Contacts on the inside of the Door Frame ???

I've had this, broken spring on door mechansim.

Have you tried cleaning the contacts on the hab door/ frame?
