Does anyone have any knowledge on why my cbe control panel has stopped showing both hab and cab voltage and amps.
Also it has stopped showing water levels for grey and fresh.

All over functions seem to work ok.. temperature/clock/pump/lights on and off.all 12v sockets work fine.

Hab batteries 13v up to 14.5v when engine running
Can batt 13v

Tried disconnecting the batteries and waiting a while .

Checked all fuses including 50amp midi fuses.

The control panel still works the same with the hab batteries disconnected and working off can batt

Nothing changes when reconnected

She's a 2002 fiat ducato euramobil

Here are some pictures.

It may be worth talking to Apuljack engineering (01278 588922) who repair these systems and normally are helpful if you phone them and may have some ideas as to the cause of the problem.
The other thing you could check, which have caused problems, is the battery to body/engine earth straps which have given problems where they look ok but are faulty, you could use a jump lead as a temp. earth to check this.

The 'amperometer sensor' is a 'shunt resistor' with a small circuit that senses the volts and amps. This data is sent to the control panel via the four thin white data wires. It could be worth checking the connections at both ends of these wires, and maybe check the wires haven't been squashed or nibbled by mice.

Thanks, the white wires look ok, traced them down into the double floor and up into cupboards and into the control panel,
They are inside black flexible conduit and then in thick grey trunking ,think a beaver would have trouble getting to them.

Took the control panel out and looked and the connections and all looks fine..

Do you know if these ampmeter shunt can bust?.

I don't know exactly what's inside them but maybe there is a small fuse in addition to the 50A fuse. There will be some way to protect the thin wires, it might be a fuse, or a polyfuse or other self-resetting fuse. Worth a look if it's easy to do.
