This car park is now a lot smaller due to large building works going on.
You will be competing with th builders for a parking spot.

We just stayed at Ty Coch a few days ago. Nice site. Not fancy but great owners. We got taxi into Cardiff but there is a bus service.

How about this site, close to the city centre?

Cheers,

Jock.

Old thread but updates for others:

It is in a very large park, next to Cardiff Castle. 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Five minutes walk to the Water Bus Stop, that will take you to Cardiff Bay. Five minutes walk to bus stops.

Access is off Cathedral Road.

Great for cycling in the park or very close to the Taff Trail, a great cycle route.

Find Dunleavy Drive, go past the 24 hour Starbucks cafe. At the mini-roundabout, go ahead and there are about eight parking spaces on rough ground. Not very level but undisturbed, although the rush hour traffic on the flyover will act as a 7am alarm call.

24 hour Asda.
24 hour Starbucks.
24 hour MacDonalds.

All within five minutes.
