An article in the Daily Telegraph today - make of it what you will:

We thought a campervan would cure our midlife crisis – it was chaos

The freedom of the open road beckoned for one couple, but was it smooth progress or sheer chaos?

I stopped reading as soon as I seen the word review

It was a pathetic article but ….. if I were in the business of selling campervans, I’d have a simple generic how to guide on the basics that I would hand to every customer.

Dealer handovers to new customers are universally utter pants. Someone who knows it inside out and back to front telling someone totally clueless, what to do. And expecting them to remember it.

Well, our recent handover didn’t impress. Several statements made were proved to be wrong. Ignorant guesses at best, or possibly straight lies.

Don’t these folk ever use the products they sell?

I stopped reading when I hit the paragraph that twice used the US English word “envisioned” instead of the UK English word “envisaged”. I know saving our language from Americanisation is a lost cause but I intend to go down with the language ship that I was raised to speak and write.🚢🫡 🫧
