I have 2 Calor lite gas bottles in my MH and only one is continually connected to the run the MH at the moment.

The other is juts sitting idle until I need to swtich over.

Is it okay to connect a regulator to the spare calor lite and run a longish hose (2m) out to my Cadac?

And if so does anyone know what type of regulator I would need?

That's exactly what I do, you can get a regulator at any camping shop or on line.

Not yet they are still available until Calor brings out a replacement.

Just bought a screw in regulator, 2m hose and clips so will try it out this weekend.

Thanks for the replies

I thought Calor lite had been discontinued?

I also use one of these quick connections, it means you do not have to keep taking the regulator off. I have it at the cadac end so I can coil the hose and stash it in the gas locker. My hose is about 4m long. Obviously I turn the bottle off before disconnecting the quick release.

Cadac do a 'quick release' coupling which we have..... one end fits to the Cadac and the other to the tank/hose and you just snap them 'together and apart' they are really good...we have one on our Cadac at home and one on our Cadac Cook 2 for the MH...highly recommended:D
