Hi there,
Really sorry if this has been answered a lot and I assume it has.
I was planning a Scottish road trip in my father's Autotrail Ducato and we were due to be heading off in 3 weeks.
We've just gone to put me on his insurance but I think I may need to have a C1 license given the weight and this would now mean we have to cancel our plans.
Unfortunately my dad is abroad at the moment and his motorhome is stored down south (I am located up north) so we can't check the plate but when I check on the government website it says the Revenue Weight is 3,850kg which puts it over the 3,500kg threshold.
My question is, is the revenue weight listed on the government site going to be the same as the MAM on the vehicle? I think it probably is but just want to check before we cancel our trip.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Charlie
