Just out of interest how many know about the modern tendency for manufacturers to fit oil pumps in their engine's driven by tiny drive belts that when a injector weeps it contaminates the oil, which in itself causes the belt to fail.
There is a replacement kit chain driven. They are now fitting chain driven pumps to some new vehicles but how do you know if yours is chain driven.
There are quite a few different manufacturers with this problem. I only know this as I've been doing a little recovery for a salvage company, Ford have been replacing engine's upto 125,000 miles which I know most campervans don't reach normally.
