Just leaving Portsmouth on Brittany Ferries new hybrid powered ship, running all electric to leave the port, totally silent, v impressive!

And the dinner in the restaurant is great, reasonably priced food and wine. A great start to our trip.

We have been to France many times in September. Never pre booked a site yet. Use SFS or P4N apps.

Hi, no we haven’t pre booked any sites, using a mix of aires/municipal campsites. Have a look at our other post, pottering down to ille de re for some ideas.

Don't over think it, France is MH heaven, at the risk of slightly exaggerating things. :) If you want to avoid tolls just stay near the coast and perhaps head into Brittany where there aren't any. The Gulf of Morbihan would be useful place to aim for but anywhere is Brittany is worth a visit. In September the weather should still be good.

Thanks for that very useful info
