Hi,
Having a bit of a mare with my favourite ferry company.
I have booked the wrong length of van with BF for our sailing Monday next week.
Instead of booking up to over 1.8m and over 6m for our 5.24m van, I booked it as under 1.8m up-to 5m in error.
I tried to change it yesterday, but it kept stalling at the payment stage.
So today, it now says the sailing is full.
I have rang Brittany Ferries, today and they cannot offer any solution.
Other than, turn up 3 hours early and see if they can fit us on. If not, they currently have no space for any future sailings from Bilbao or Santander.
When I advised that my wife had not been too well (genuine long term (not trying to pull any cards)) and I need to get home for work. They said they may now want a "Fit for Travel certificate for my wife. I have to say, I found their customer service very poor in this instance. Fair enough, My error. But to start being difficult and throwing spanners into the works is very unfair.
And before anyone wishes to agree with BF on the "Fit To Travel" point. Don't, please. I have had my fair share of delays due to poor people having to be Medivaced. And judging by the appearance of a lot of passengers, quite a few could do with a FTTC.
So "if" by any chance anyone on here is cancelling their crossing for the same day, please could you let me know so I can grab your space please?.
