More than toes wet now!
Dabbled with it a year or two back and it's good for privacy however there is some advertising on it. It's got a Tor Browser built in which helps with the privacy. Pretty fast.
There's also a way to gain "rewards" but can't remember much about that.
Stuck with Firefox as with some tweaking \ add-ons it suited my needs.

40 years under canvas: Motorhome 2016 To 2020
I use Brave for a couple of forums that are basically un viewable on Safari as the page gets too many adverts .

seems to work well, although the Pistonheads site says the browser is unsupported it works fine...they just don’t like the fact it gets rid of the adverts!

93,000 Ads and trackers have been blocked which saved 2.84 gig of downloads and an hour of time while they downloaded. Don’t know the period involved but I only use it for SpeakEV and Pistonheads forums so it just goes to show the extent of stuff that gets tracked etc.

edit - I just use it “out of the box” with no tweaks to the settings, or rewards sign up etc
