just wondering how do you steer it

:blush::doh::pray:
unless there is steering wheel inside cab

beaten to it by mr dextrous pinkies

I'm guessing the steering is by some sort of hydraulic pump, via what looks like a damper just below the headstock.

The cylinder below the steering head is simply a damper. A steering linkage from the cab is hardly a complex problem.

Looks an interesting piece of kit!

I think you lay across the scuttle and try not to lose your wedding tackle down the headers

Or how does the understearing work

You've got that right. Every time I see a big Yank trikes I see two huge wheels pushing it forwards and something not fit for purpose try to turn it.

I've never driven one so maybe I'm wrong.

I often wonder what the turning circle of these was like. Maybe they had a diff lock tandemmed in with the steering mechanism ?
