We've booked our van into Regal. Unless we get a cancellation it will be early October.

The pics in their portfolio look great - https://www.regalfurnishings.co.uk/portfolio/ - and I'm quite taken with the leather edging on the cab seating.

Any views on the cab seats being slightly different to the lounge decor? In our 2008 Apache the cab seats are only used when driving as we have a rear lounge.

Just kicking ideas around. Even wondered about leather for the cab seats.

All opinions welcome :)

Just personal preference but I would keep the hab and cab the same. We had our Autotrail scout fully re-upholstered in cream leather in 2019 and Regal made a fabulous job of it. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the finish whatever you choose. They sent us samples so they could order in the leather.

Another who'd keep the hab and cab the same. Think it would look a bit odd if the cab covers were different to the rest of the van.

Thanks for the responses. We have discussed leather but we're thinking it might be a tad cool. But I see there are obvious benefits not least cleaner and spill resistance.

Regal did ours in fabric with leather trim and it looks great, easy to look after.
Just a tip, they'll ask if you want the soft or firm filling - we chose the firm, a bit hard at first but soon got used to it and after a few trips was nice and pliable without being too soft.

I can't speak highly enough of Regal. We had our last MH upholstery done by them despite them being over 250 miles from us. Unfortunately we sold the MH about 2 years later, but I am sure the quality contributed to the good price we got for the MH. The firm filling was very comfortable. If you do the front seats in a different fabric/leather to the rest it may look as if either one or the other had been redone rather that both.

Don't be put off by how quickly Regal employees work. They are most professional.

Can I suggest you carefully consider how many scatter cushions you want/need? We decided to order a couple of extras afterwards, but they were more expensive as a "one off".

Thanks Sue, great feedback. I think you're right about keeping everything the same, everyone else has said the same.
