Hi Jon yes it's a trauma
I have the same problem. Mine is a Truma Combi and I accidentally turned the mains on when drained down and think I have blow the 10amp slow fuse which is an absolute pain to get to due to the way Auto-sleeper have installed the heater in my motorhome. Have been running on gas while I work out how to get access to the boiler which is under the wardrobe and only access is via the drawer opening below!

Not sure why you would think the fuse has blown. These boilers are designed to run empty.

I am going by the error code on the display unit.
Ah a newer model than mine. I found my elements had failed overnight (1 had possibly failed before) when I woke to find there was no electric coming in. Thinking I was the bollard I checked but it was my unit had tripped. Would then only work on Gas (kept tripping when 230V selected). Stripped at home to find both elements had failed.

There is an overheat 230v protection reset button under the wiring cover of the Truma Combi that may need pressing.
I have tried that but as the heater motherboard is facing away from me at arms length through a drawer, it is difficult to see anything except by holding a mirror on a clamp and hoping. I'm planning on making an access hatch in the floor of the wardrobe so I can actually see and access the unit properly.

Can you post a pic of your control panel and red light please? might help

My Truma C3402 stopped heating water on Hook-up, on my boiler the element is a rubber band wrapped around the cylinder.
I followed this YouTube video

In the video the chap had a thermal fuse blown but mine was ok but it was thermal switch fault on mine.
Cost me £6 and £4.50 of that was postage
