Has anyone set up Bip and Go direct debit to either Nationwide or Santander banks? I keep getting answers that not recognised by SEPA?

Our BipandGo is via Santander, can't for the life of me remember how i did it, but it was a faff. Think we got the IBan no from our Santander App, did have to try a couple of times but it did work in the end.

We’ve tried loads and even Santander cannot help☹️. Do you need to setup a euros account?

Got mine through the CAMC. Direct debit paid to a British bank and got a bit of a discount too. Wouldn't normally use the CAMC for this type to thing but it was very easy and quick to receive the gizmo. Will test if it works on Friday coming

Emovis was the system CAMC were providing discount. Bip and Go is a different system which provides one tag for France Spain Portugal and Italy.

Sorry - didn't really appreciate the difference. We only travel in France.
Hope you get sorted.

I had the same problem at first. I was advised of people having issues with some UK banks and some tag companies because they cannot link their account to the toll company by IBAN, and international banking SEPA. Although UK banks including Nationwide can provide an IBAN, this is for paying money into your account not the other way around.

The beauty of Bipngo is that after the initial set up charge, (20 euros) is that you only get charged for the months you actually use it, where as Emovis I think have an annual fee. I was advised to use a Starling bank current account. It has 2 sections, one in Sterling and one in Euros; both sections have IBAN's. Make sure you give Bipngo the IBAN for the Euros sections as the IBAN for sterling will not work, (found out the hard way). This means I am billed in Euros which is deducted from the Euro account in which I hold a stock of Euros. (Transfer from Sterling section to Euro section in seconds and at reasonable rate). The other advantage is that it is easy to supply an IBAN number when opening the account. Debit card can be used to pay in Euros. Hope this helps you.

Yes realise ours is though emovis, but the tag says bip and go, have one for France and one for Spain/Portugal, so that explains why we could do it through Santander, apologies Geoff51

As DT says, if you have a € balance on a Revolut card, it's a doddle. Prob'ly the same for Wise, too.
Our Bip'n'Go works in France, Spain & Portugal

Sorted by just getting LiberT for France from Emovis with CAMC discount. Pay Italy tolls old school card out the window😁. Another Brexit gain. Thank goodness my wife’s German citizenship/passport works!!

Hi. We’re 3500. You are correct in that anything above that weight doesn’t qualify for LiberT Sanef etc.
I don’t know how the trucks use the auto tolls. It could be a commercial operators special tag.
