20190518_145655.jpg 20190518_145842.jpg 20190518_145711.jpg Thule (purchased from Volvo dealer) tow hitch mounted bike rack complete with rear lighting and number plate holder.

This is a 2 bike rack with a removable extension for a third bike.

45Kg capacity (as per attached label) although the user manual states 60Kg

It has only been fitted to my car on 2 occasions, never in the rain, so is in perfect condition.

£100.00 , collected from IP25 area of Norfolk.

Would you measure distance between the rails that the wheels sit in ( with 3rd rail fitted. I doubt if it’s wide enough, but may do for our electric trike

Will do Chris, the heavens have just opened here so I will get back to you when it clears.

OK Chris, The three rails are 170mm c/c apart . ... however the third rail sits approx 150mm above the others so may not suit a trike.

Thanks, that won’t work then, the wheels are 15 in apart about 380mm,

Although I originally bought this bike rack for my car it will of course fit a standard tow hitch on a motorhome.

Hi. Not meaning to be rude in any way but perhaps a little expensive second hand?
Browse eblay and you will find closer to £120 - £140?
I offer this only to try and help you sell something you want rid of and because I recently bought a branded "shop soiled" model myself ..... Otherwise I would have made you an offer.

Question? How does it fit to the towbar please? Clamps onto the ball?

Thanks

If it's like my Thule one then a single large nut completes the grip on the towbar ball. Very secure even done up by hand but I was given a spanner too. There are weight limits but the designers know the average weight of a bicycle.

Bought a Thule then found it only had a 15kg per bike (think it was a model 15902) As a lot of people are moving to Electric bikes its worth checking out the specs of these things. I eventually came up with a second hand German Nimbus Saffier for £55 Carries up to two bikes at 30kg each. I don't think the importers do them anymore but they do lurk around on ebay. Apparently not only do the popular brands have an overall weight limit but there is a max on each rack. If you are buying for pedal bikes I think this one is very good value, looks like new.
