Best weather app for Spain and Portugal

Hi all, just about to get on the ferry to Santander for 6 weeks in Spain and Portugal - which weather app would folk recommend? Looks like we’re going to have do a bit of weather chasing! Thanks

There is an app called “windy”, a lot of people on here use it…

I find XC Weather and YR (Norwegian Metrological) to be pretty reasonable forecasts. I also use Rain Today for next 30mins rain forecast and radar.

They all seem to guess, at the moment I have Accu Weather, Janie has El Tiempo de Aemet and another if she doesn't like what they tell her.
Mostly I look at the radar for the next 4 hours, look at the sky and it's normally come on we're walking if doubtful we take a coat.

Last week we was on yellow alert.... no rain still walked, had two walks so far this week too hot, only a drizzle at night. Bob.

AEMET is the official weather forecaster for Spain (equiv to The Met Office) from whom most of the paid or advert supported sites like accuweather, open weather etc etc get their data. You can view forecasts either via their app - or off their Web pages where you can choose language as well. Most large towns are available as either 7 day or hourly forecasts.

We use the Meteoblue app. They also have some good map overlays and a feature called 'where2go'. Not sure what is on the the free version but the full version is only a few quid a year.

Personally I use ventusky wx app free to download and use for basics.
Not looking too clever in Spain at the moment.
Hoping to go that way via Portugal next month.

We've been in spain since early Feb & normally use the windy app but we've found AEMET pretty good - it does take a bit of getting used to. There's a website, app (cant find an english version) & fb page.
The weather has been very unsettled everywhere so we've been paying much more attention than we normally would.

I use Ventusky but I might have to find a different app as all it has forecast for the past week and next week coming is cold and rainy.
