Best place to wild camp to watch the round the I.O.W race

Culver Downs could be a good bet
High up and can see from Sandown and around to Bembridge etc

New Lane , Milford on Sea , if your talking about viewing from the mainland . Motorhome ban starting Aug-Sept but lots of vans park up along New Lane -Saltgrass lane . 2mins walk up onto the spit and you are opposite the needles to see all the action .. Walk along the spit to Hurst Castle and you get the best views close up . Closest point to the island . Think there is a pop up coffee shack next to the castle .

It's not worth the cost to go over to the island. I'd go to St Catherine's if I was going to. (I grew up there).

I second that one. You can park up on Culver by the fort.
