My parents just purchased a Bedford Bambi 1989 model.
Unfortunately the one they have just acquired has a leaky side window and to date they have been unable to source a second hand one. I thought I had secured one from a facebook group however dispite a deal being made the seller then went quiet and I've heard nothing since so back to the drawing board
They can source a new window however at a cost of close to £500.
Does anyone know of a breakers/scrapyard/dealer etc who may have a second hand window for sale?
any assistance appreciated.

Can you not find a glass place and get them to cut you one, would be cheaper.

They were based on Suzuki super carry/Bedford rascal (re cab glass )
Could you fit a different size window to the defective one
I realise it won’t be easy cutting 30year old fibreglass
But easier than finding hens teeth

I hope I am wrong but a cut sheet of glass is unlikely to be shatter proof and, should it break, it could cause serious harm,

We dropped lucky and got a replacement window for our vintage 'van on ebay. It was a caravan window but fitted perfectly!

Could it be removed and refitted or refurbished if the leak is in the frame itself?

its not that expensive to get the glass toughened any decent glaziers or double glazing place should be able to get it done usually takes a few days as it has to be baked
but windows seldom leak through the pane its nearly always the seals or the mastic so unless its cracked i would look elsewhere

curiousity got me and ive just looked at a couple of bambi and windows apear to be normal plastic caravan windows if its not broken it will be seals or mastic you cant use glass as a replacement for that type

eeco-ltd can make a replacement cheaper

Thanks will pass on comments to them. Advised then caravan windows may fit. also asked where the leak is as not actually told me

Apparently not leaking just cracked and taped up so replacing just plastic window and not frame is an option. Don't you love it when you get half a story from your parents....
