Has anybody got any ideas for bathrooom shelving without drilling holes in the walls. I have an Elddis Autoquest 175 and while its a lovely big washroom they appear to have skimped on the shelves for "lotions and potions"

May I suggest checking out the bathroom department of any good DIY or similar store for shelves etc. looking for accessories that affix to the wall using plastic "suckers", preferably the type that have a locking fixing method. You can get shelves, soap dishes, toilet roll holders - in fact anything you might use in a bathroom. But I'd avoid the cheap ones as IMO they don't stay stuck very long. We use hand-holds in our shower at home so if they're strong enough to help getting in and out..................!

They do depend, of course, on being fixed to a smooth flat surface.

thanks i`ll have a look. its okay on the glass but the walls are a weird wallpapery stuff . Hey ho.

Command hooks stick well, and can be removed without damage to the wall. You could use two to hold a basket?

Sainsbury’s sell chrome ones with suckers we bought 5 and use them in mototorhome

Just had an email from B&Q and they've got some 'stick on' tubs etc in their clearance sale ...

I have a similar problem on the u shaped lounge in our moho, I'm wondering what kind of adhesive would put a wee shelf up permanently?

If I am reading in my fixed bed Burstner I have noshelf to put my phone or cup of tea down on. :(

I recall one specific van we bought, did up and sold. the previous owner had glued shelves to the bathroom wall. this was a typical wall of plywood with vinyl covering. the problem is the combination of shelf and stored goods was heavier than the bond between vinyl and ply. so it tore chunks out of the wall as it fell

i fitted a new sheet of coated ply over the top of the original to repair

Don't' know what happened there! Go on the link and search for 'hang-it' and you should get quite a few stick on/take off shelves to choose from.

The double-sided tape for fitting external trim to cars made by 3M is superb stuff.
