Bathroom dome replacement - what adhesive to use ?

Dome roof vent for bathroom has broken due to being very brittle, what adhesive would you use to secure a new dome vent to the roof ?

mastic tape is my go to sealant surely the dome has fixings to keep it in place

Not sure, I know the vent inside is screwed, but the top not sure, hence the question….

youll probably find the screws sandwich the two parts together clamping against the thickness of the roof butyl mastic tape is made for that situation
